Michigan travel nursing is an adventure all its own. Bordered by four of the five Great Lakes, Michigan is a state defined by water from the busy industrial ports in the southeast to shorelines of wilderness in the Upper Peninsula. The Great Lakes have shaped Michigan's economy. Mining, logging, and Detroit's auto industry owe their success to the vast transportation network of the Great Lakes. They also offer visitors beaches, harbors, islands, and numerous waterways for boating, fishing, swimming, and other pursuits. Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands are not just winter wonderlands for skiing, they also offer great golf. East Tawas has its River Queen paddlewheel boat that tours the AuSable River Valley. Frankenmuth is Michigan's little German town with delicious chicken dinners and dark beer.
Michigan is a state of four seasons, so you can enjoy all manner of fun. Michigan is also the home of the Lions, Pistons, and Red Wings.
